Everyone has been talking about the unseasonably hot summer in Broken Hill, and when we step into our rooms the heat is stifling.

A quick check with our attendant confirms we can swap seats so that we have an uninterrupted view from the double length window, with no mullion in our way.

Luckily our rooms cool down quickly enough for us to get a reasonable night’s sleep – ready for our city tour the next morning.
